Our Mission
Our mission at Bismarck Community Church is to make fully devoted followers
of Jesus Christ.
Jesus commissioned us to go
and make disciples baptizing them and teaching them to obey everything he taught
us.
We are called to be living witnesses to the reality of Jesus Christ by:
 |
Building relationships with those who do not know God;
|
 |
Intentionally crossing boundaries, by word and deed, in the midst of a disbelieving
culture;
|
 |
Partnering with those who are called by God to be witnesses beyond our local community.

Our vision is to love God, neighbor, family, and the church.
We are committed to community. Therefore, our focus is on building relationships:
1. Relationship with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit;
2. Genuine, caring relationships with others in the community;
3. Healthy relationships within the family;
4. And healthy relationships within the body of Christ.
Our Tradition
We stand in the Reformed tradition of the church. Bismarck Community Church is a
congregation of the Reformed Church in America. Our watchwords are the Word of God
alone, grace alone, faith alone, Christ alone, to the glory of God alone. And we
focus on what unites Christians, rather than what divides us.
Our Message
God loves you and wants a personal relationship with you. When you make Jesus Christ
your leader and forgiver, you come alive spiritually and enter a life-saving and
never-ending relationship with God the Father through Jesus Christ by the power
of the Holy Spirit.
We want more people in Bismarck-Mandan to hear this message, and to experience
God’s amazing grace!
In 2007, Bismarck Community Church is celebrating our 50th anniversary: 50-years
of God’s amazing grace! 50-years of lost people in Bismarck-Mandan, North Dakota
being found by Jesus.
Lost people matter to God. And that really is what we are celebrating. Look at the
words of Jesus in Luke 15, when lost sheep, lost coins, and lost sons are found:
Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep. I tell you
that in the same way there will be more
rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine
righteous persons who
do not need to repent.
Rejoice with me; I have found my lost coin. In the same
way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the
presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.
Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring
on his finger and sandals on his feet.
Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let's have a feast
and celebrate. For this son of mine was
dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.
And so we are rejoicing, we are celebrating with heaven on earth! 50-years of God’s
amazing grace coming into our lives and our community, one heart at a time. Imagine
50-more years of lost people in Bismarck-Mandan, North Dakota discovering a personal,
saving relationship with Jesus… and becoming fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
Come and follow Jesus with us.
